Administrative & Events Assistant
Danielle Bennett was born and raised in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. She hails from a business family that has served our community for over 50 years. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge on customer service and about the community as a whole. She spent the last 10 years in the aviation industry, primarily as a flight attendant, and is looking forward to helping to promote the community she is so proud to be a part of.
In her spare time, Danielle enjoys performing as a singer at various events, spending time in nature that the Big Land has to offer, baking, and spending time with her family. Danielle is working on a joint term position as Administrative & Events Assistant for the LNCC and the Labrador Hunting and Fishing Association.
Events & Member Services Manager
Darian was born in Goose Bay and has most recently resided in St. John's while attending university. Darian has a diploma in Business Administration and has recently received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Memorial University. She has previously worked in customer service roles, as well as at the YMCA-NL in St. John's in an accounts and membership services role.
Darian has two younger brothers and enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, fitness, as well as other outdoor activities such as snowshoeing and spending time at the cabin.
Chief Executive Officer
Julianne moved to Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador, in April 2010 after accepting the position of Logistics Coordinator with the LNCC. She remained with the LNCC for six years in roles relating to event management, public relations, and marketing. Julianne worked for the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay as the Director of Economic Development and has also worked in various capacities with the governments of Alberta and Nova Scotia. In July 2019, Julianne accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer with the LNCC.
Julianne brings significant experience to the organization relating to economic development, event management, communications, public relations, marketing, tourism, and member relations. She holds degrees in sociology and public relations, and a Masters degree in public relations from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, N.S. She currently sits on the Central Labrador YMCA’s Campaign Cabinet committee, the East Chapter of the Grenfell Foundation, and the local Trappers’ Running Club.
Julianne resides in Happy Valley-Goose Bay with her husband, Chris, and her sons, Maxwell and Asher.
Chantel was born and raised in HVGB and has an extensive background with management, client relations and finance. Chantel graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Memorial University. Locally she has worked as Store Manager of Reitman's and held the position as Office Manager at Valley Business Equipment.
Chantel resides in Happy Valley-Goose Bay with her partner, Leanna, and their dogs, Oliver and Isabelle.
