For more than 50 years, the Labrador North Chamber of Commerce (LNCC) has been the most diverse and representational business group in Central Labrador and has been the region’s link between people, businesses, vision, and ideas.

Our mission is to promote and improve trade and commerce, and the economic, civil and social welfare of the district. We accomplish this in a number of ways.

With highly successful events such as the Expo Labrador Conference and Trade Exhibition, the Northern Lights Business and Cultural Showcase, and our most recent event, Northern Exposure – Labrador Opportunity Conference and Trade Show, the LNCC aims to promote business and partnership opportunities that exist in the region while showcasing its unique cultural history.

We also hold a number of networking events throughout the year in which high-profile individuals from across Canada present to our membership on a wide range of relevant topics relating to business preparedness and economic competitiveness.

Our region is changing rapidly with new commercial and residential construction projects, mining and mineral exploration activities, hydroelectric development, transportation and infrastructure improvements, tourism, Aboriginal business growth, and much more. With Central Labrador ever evolving, we must ensure that the business community is capitalizing on this activity and adapting to better serve the region and its people.

Through our many initiatives, the LNCC has emerged as one of the most progressive and influential chambers in the country.
