Other elements include making meaningful contributions to initiatives and events in communities on Labrador’s North Coast and Central region, and creating opportunities for local employment and procurement. Direct engagement with Labrador communitiesalso features prominently in Aurora’s activities. The Company has held more than 40 community information sessions since 2005, many one-on-one and small-group meetings, and has permanent staff in Makkovik and Happy Valley-Goose Bay for those who want to discuss Aurora’s activities.
